New offerings include TSA PreCheck, TWIC, HAZMAT endorsements, and passport services

The Crawford County Circuit Clerk's Office in Van Buren has broadened its range of services, aiming to provide residents with greater convenience and efficiency.

Located at 317 Main Street, the office now serves as an enrollment center for TSA PreCheck, allowing travelers to expedite airport security processes.

Additionally, the office offers Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC) and HAZMAT endorsements, essential for professionals in the transportation and maritime sectors.

These services commenced on September 12, and the community's response has been overwhelmingly positive.

Residents appreciate the added convenience and time-saving benefits.

In 2018, the office began offering passport services, further enhancing its commitment to meeting the community's needs.

Passport applications are accepted Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., with no appointment necessary.

Applicants need to provide a completed application form, a valid government-issued photo ID, proof of citizenship, and payment for applicable fees.

For TSA PreCheck enrollment, applicants can start the process online and complete it at the Circuit Clerk's Office.

The service includes fingerprinting and identity verification, with a fee of $78.

TWIC and HAZMAT endorsements are also available, catering to the needs of transportation and maritime workers.

The office's expansion reflects its dedication to providing essential services locally, reducing the need for residents to travel to distant locations.
