The historic King Opera House in Van Buren shines again this November, hosting a moving production of The Miracle Worker by William Gibson.
In partnership with Skokos Performing Arts Center, Arts on Main, The Alma Education and Arts Foundation, and PAC’d House Productions, this local collaboration brings professional-grade theater to the community.
Directed by Jessye Wooten, The Miracle Worker shares the inspiring true story of Helen Keller and her teacher, Annie Sullivan—a tale of resilience, courage, and connection that resonates deeply.
Performances run November 14–16 and 21–23.
The beloved King Opera House stands as a testament to Van Buren’s creative legacy, linking Victorian heritage with its thriving arts community today.
